ABOUT

The HER Coach, Advisor, and Motivational Speaker

You can be understood and challenged in the same conversation.

I’m Mecca Nandi, The HER Coach. I believe you deserve support that takes your feelings seriously, respects your ability to make decisions, and helps you follow through on what matters to you.

You can be capable, accomplished, and the person everybody calls, and still have areas of your life you’re trying to figure out. There’s room for that here.

The experience behind the conversation

For more than 22 years, I’ve supported women and families through the emotional realities of identity, relationships, boundaries, and change.

Thirty years of marriage also shape my perspective. I understand that relationships keep asking us to listen, learn, reconsider, and take responsibility for how we show up.

My work has been featured by NPR and Sisters Magazine, and I’ve brought these conversations into university classrooms, community events, and professional learning spaces.

What HER means to me

Healthy Emotional Resilience is the foundation of my work: understanding your emotions, recovering from setbacks, communicating your needs, and making intentional choices when life gets complicated.

I care about what you understand during our conversation, and what you can put into practice when that familiar situation shows up again.

That’s where we get to work.

What you can count on from me

I’ll listen closely. I’ll ask the question that needs asking. I’ll help you examine a pattern without making that pattern your whole identity.

We’ll make room for your circumstances and get clear about what’s within your control.

I call it being “team RIGHT”: staying committed to honesty, accountability, and choices that support healthier lives and relationships.

Through private coaching, leadership workshops, and speaking, I bring that commitment to individuals, teams, and communities.

Testimonials

“Mecca is an amazing coach! Before working with her, I struggled with setting boundaries, standing up for myself, and being overly hard on myself. Through her guidance, I learned to let go of perfectionism and stopped beating myself up. I used to bottle up my emotions, but she helped me acknowledge, feel, and process them in a healthy way. Mecca taught me how to address my shortcomings, speak up for myself, set healthy boundaries, and build emotional resilience—especially in my long-distance relationship.” -Mimi

“Before working with Mecca, I was insecure and deeply hated myself. I’ve spent my whole 24 years of life not being heard and she was the one who listened. I truly needed a buddy to help me get through life and Sister Mecca was there for me. Since coaching with her, I no longer hate myself anymore. I feel a lot lighter mentally and emotionally. I feel grounded and have a clearer understanding of who I want to be and how to achieve that. I’ve found more peace in accepting who I am, which has helped me build healthier relationships with myself and others. I also approach challenges with more confidence and resilience. At first, I hesitated coaching with her because I’m a full-time student and part-time worker. I was worried about the time and money commitment but I decided to go ahead because I knew I needed to invest in my growth. I would recommend Mecca because everyone deserves to have someone who really listens and helps them see the best in themselves.” -Zee

But let’s be clear—I’m not just a coach. I’m a trailblazer, a dynamic speaker, and a beacon of hope for women seeking to live fully and authentically. My style is relatable, my energy is contagious, and my impact is lasting – so I’ve been told. When you work with me, you’re not just learning; you’re experiencing a powerful shift towards a more empowered, vibrant you.
